Ranjeet Sathe, Born and raised in Maharashtra,1979. Graduated in Applied Arts from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2000. After graduating, he worked with advertising agencies as a creative director and 3d Animator for several years. He is also one of the co-founders of the company called ARSTUDIOART, Pune.

 

He has developed his own style. He often employs the human figure to tell a story and uses everyday themes like couple, parent & child to bring out various shades of human emotions. The common thing one will find in his art is love, whether it is with the human or with nature. He always believes without the ability to actualize an idea or concept, art wouldn't exist. He doesn't limit himself to one medium, style or concept, as inspiration and ideas change Knowledge changes. 

 

Each art he creates is simultaneously an extension of his past, where he has come from, and what he has learned. The characters have an ethereal existence entrenched in a world of fantasy far removed from the real world. The body language and the overall mood and feel of the paintings are excessively romantic. It looks like poetry with a contemporary look. He says exploring the emotional links between poetry and painting is like picking two different flowers from the same field to form a bouquet, each beautifully paired, complimenting one another in scent & aesthetics. All of us have different ways of showing our affection for different things, and likewise to artist Ranjeet Sathe, displays his love for things and places through his art. His paintings are also confined to his own prejudices of various things and subjects with which he has different experiences or bright happiness associated. And so his art is his way of communicating his deepest thought, latent feelings, emotions and even his strong yearnings.
